Tips From the Top of the Leaderboard - Squat Tips

We regularly work with top athletes and each time we ask them 'what is your top tip for people getting in to lifting'.

Each time, we receive some fantastic feedback and we wanted to share some of these tips with you. This page is a list of the squat tips we have received to date.

Ben Warren - @warren_strength (Instagram):

"Make sure you train your hamstrings to be strong enough to manage the strength you want from your quads! A big squat needs a balance of both your hamstrings and your quads"

Liam Dack - @lil_liam (Instagram):

"Learn to love it, set goals, track your progress, but whatever you are training for make sure to enjoy i, because if you treat it like a chore - that-s what it will be"

Robin Morley - @morley_the_enigma (Instagram):

"Shut everything out that's going on around you, focus on getting setup, unrack with confidence, take in a nice deep breath and descend with control. Push your feet through the floor while keeping your head up high. Then, just wait for your white lights"

Riena Ferguson- @riena_lifts (Instagram):

"Once you set your mind to it, your body will follow!"

We love these tips and hope they help you in your journey and keep you motivated to keep pushing.
